Terms and Conditions 2019 Gold & Pioneer Event Bern

By registering for the 2019 Gold & Pioneer Event Bern, you and your guest agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. These Terms and Conditions govern the Swatch Club 2019 Gold & Pioneer Event in Bern (“Event”) administered by Swatch Ltd., Nicolas G. Hayek Strasse 1, 2502 Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.
2. By participating in this Contest you agree to these Rules and to abide by it. You confirm to have read and understood our Privacy Notice. Our Privacy Notice is available: www.swatch.com/fr_ch/privacy-policy.
3. This Event is only open to Swatch Club members with Gold or Pioneer status. Such members who registered successfully can bring one guest along, who must also be at least a Premium active club member. Places for the Event are limited. We consider registrations on a first come first serve basis at Swatch Ltd’s sole discretion.
4. The Event shall take place from May 31st to 2nd June 2019 in Bern, Switzerland. The Event includes 2.5 days of Swatch experience, 2 hotel nights (incl. breakfast), 2 dinners, 2 lunches and 1 exclusive Event watch and package.
5. The single package Event price (one guest) is CHF 680 per person. The double package Event price (two guests in double bedroom) is CHF 1240.
6. The costs of travel to and from the Event (all the way to/from the hotel) will not be paid by Swatch Ltd. You are responsible for all your travel arrangements to and from the Event and for obtaining the required visas. Any arrangements and costs outside the Event dates are at your own responsibility (no preferential rates guaranteed at the hotel).
7. Special needs should be notified well in advance and will be reasonably taken into account (no guarantees given).
8. Guests are responsible for taking out appropriate insurance.
9. Registration for Gold or Pioneer members: You must communicate your wish to participate to the Event by email to clubinternational@swatch.com during the time slot from 13 April 2019 at 11:59 am CEST to 17 April 2019 at 11:59 pm at the latest, specifying if you wish to book a single or a double package and sharing the name and surname as well as club status of your guest.
10. If you are short-listed to participate (first come first serve basis), you shall be informed by return email on 23 April 2019 and requested to pay the total Event price until 29 April 2019. Your registration will be completed and confirmed only after receipt by Swatch Ltd. of the entire Event price for you and your guest (if any) on 30 April 2019, at the latest. If the entire payment is not received by this time, your subscription may be allocated to a different person.
11. If you cancel your registration latest on 17 May 2019, we will retain 50% of the paid total price. If you cancel your registration after such date, we will retain 100% of the paid total price. Regardless of when you cancel, if you cancel you will no longer be entitled to receive the Event package and watch or attend the event. The provision of any invalid, incorrect, or misleading personal information may, in our sole discretion, lead to cancellation of your registration and retaining 100% of the paid total price.
12. Payment of the Event package is only possible by credit card (VISA or Mastercard) or PayPal.
13. The Event package and the special Event Swatch will only be given to you at the Event personally, not to any third parties.
14. By registering for the Event, you agree to grant Swatch, its parent and affiliate companies the right to publish, reproduce and make available your image on photo and video material recorded in connection with the event, for marketing purposes, on offline and online channels, for in-house public relations events, internal catalogues or historical jubilee publications relating to the Swatch brand and products worldwide, without consideration, without limitation, and in perpetuity.
15. You may be required to provide your personal details (first and last name, home address, telephone number, etc.) and to prove your identity by submitting relevant documents (e.g. ID, driving licence). In the event of a dispute as to a person’s identity, the entry will be deemed to have been made by the holder of the email address associated with it.
16. If you object to grant the rights as provided in clause 14 above or if you otherwise do not accept these terms and conditions, do not register for this Event.
17. Swatch Ltd. reserves the right to make changes to the Event program and to cancel your registration and refund the price.
18. We and our affiliates disclaim all liabilities, to the greatest extent legally permissible, for any damage suffered by guests as a result or in connection with the Event.
19. These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law, without regard to any conflict of law rules. In the event of any disputes, you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.
